Whether it’s large quantities of bulk product or smaller shipments of “just-in-time” inventory, Mississippi Lime recognizes that reliability of supply and top-tier service is imperative to our customers. To ensure customers get the products they need when and where they need them. Mississippi Lime offers complete supply chain services including truck, rail and barge transportation, logistics coordination, and 24/7 on-call customer service.

At Mississippi Lime, our customer service department is committed to provide the customer with unsurpassed service. Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are organized by geography and are assigned individual customer responsibility. Mississippi Lime’s customer service team is always available to talk over the phone. CSRs are trained to manage customer orders, coordinate shipments with production and work with our logistics department to ensure on-time deliveries and overall customer satisfaction.

We have access to a broad array of truck carriers that can supply equipment to transport product in pneumatic blowers, dumps, hopper bottoms, vans, flatbeds or liquid tanks.

Mississippi Lime also owns and operates a trucking subsidiary, Mississippi Lime Distribution Service (MLDS), to ensure additional supply security for its customers. MLDS ships bulk products 24 / 7 from our Ste. Genevieve, Vicksburg, Chester, Baton Rouge and Weirton locations. Our package products are shipped Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. For our other terminal operations, please go to Locations.


Mississippi Lime has one of the largest rail fleets in the industry. Our private fleet of railcars consists of covered hopper cars, pressure differential cars (PD) and tank cars. Mississippi Lime is served by the Union Pacific Railroad.


Mississippi Lime utilizes barge transportation at its Ste. Genevieve, Vicksburg, Weirton, Verona and Prairie du Rocher plants as well as many of its terminals which offer transloading between barge and rail or truck.
