2019 Price Increase Notification

Effective January 1, 2019, Mississippi Lime will increase prices for quicklime, hydrated lime, and calcium carbonate products by up to 12%, subject to contractual obligations.

Mississippi Lime’s costs are rising at higher rates than in recent years due to energy, mining, labor, and in-bound freight. In addition, growing lime demand driven by strong economic conditions and new trade policies continue to impact market conditions.

Challenges in the freight market, including increasing volumes, labor shortages, and new regulations have also negatively impacted supply chain efficiencies and costs.

Mississippi Lime is committed to sustainably providing our customers with exceptional product quality and service. We continue to invest in our business and drive operational excellence initiatives to improve product quality and service for our customers.

We greatly value your business and look forward to continuing to serve you.
